Rainer Kraft, May 21, 2021, Environmental Protection and Prosperity

German Bundestag, May 21, 2021, Plenarprotokoll 19/231, p. 29705.

Esteemed President. Worthy colleagues.

First to Herr Mindrup and to Frau Weisberger: Your assertion that renewable energies are surely much cheaper than fossil energies is caught out as a lie by a glance at any electricity bill of citizen or business in Germany.

Anja Weisberger (CDU/CSU): Photovoltaic is much cheaper. That is the facts!

The Green Deal, as proclaimed by Frau von der Leyen, feeds on at least 2.6 trillion euros in the coming ten years. If I stack that up as 1 euro coins, I have twenty towers from here to the moon. And this is only the prelude to the complete social transformation disguised as the Great Reset. The initiators assert to be securing the future of coming generations. Precisely the opposite is nevertheless the case. The annihilation of value for an ideologically driven, planned economy represents a social regression, a breakdown of civilization.

Lorenz Gösta Beutin (Linke): Stop with the conspiracy garbage!

Your representation of a worldwide transformation in the coming 25 years is an inhuman social experiment at the cost of coming generations.

You believe to have noticed a defect in our developed society. At the same time, this society is the best we have. This society by means of its progress and technology has made possible the rapid growth to almost 8 billion people. By means of technology and energy, the people draw together and are in a position to achieve prosperity for themselves. With your policy, you want to end all of this. For a new, eco-socialist dystopia, you have as a goal the destruction of the social foundation upon which humanity grows and flourishes.

Our society, as it is, as a result of effort and error by the billions in the everyday life of the people, has grown into the civilization which we have today. It is not perfect; yet it is the best we have. This evolutionary development of mankind you now want to replace with an eco-socialist, drawing-board society, thought up in the ivory towers of alien [lebensferner], ideological Luddites.

Marianne Schieder (SPD): Is there something besides ideological words?

Yet at the same time one question is certainly not considered; that your transformation is based on compulsion and slavery: What happens with those who resist this compulsion, who do not want to let their basic rights be taken from them for an obscure climate hypothesis? Will these then be socially outlawed like all the critics who contradict the Corona preventive measures? Is it desired to circumscribe their basic rights, like that of those who stand critically opposed to an immunization with a half-baked vaccine? Or yet in the end does the climate Gulag threaten these people?

Lorenz Gösta Beutin (Linke): An unequalled trivialization!

The solution is at the same time simple, and it goes without compulsion. The solution is called energetic development. A small and wavering energy supply does not lead us to the goal, but an intensification of reliable energy of good value. This then leads to that mankind can realize your Utopia – a greening of wasteland, a diversification of cultivated agricultural acreage for the fight against hunger and poverty. If one nevertheless follows your dogmatic way to an economy of scarcity and renunciation – you have often said that is what you want – then the fate of the living is unknown and the future of coming generations appears dark.

To simply live free, yet normal.

Dirk Spaniel, May 20, 2021, Individual Transportation

German Bundestag, Plenarprotokoll 19/230, pp. 29581-29582.

Many thanks. – Herr President. Right honorable ladies and gentlemen.

At first glance, it reads nicely, what is brought in here as a law from the side of the coalition: The bureaucracy and the various national regulations on tolls shall be unified at the European level, and the whole nicely modern speaks: Digital. So far the theory, irrespective that one can proceed from the experience that the bureaucracy then, when you announce a deconstruction of bureaucracy, in most cases in the end is enlarged.

Here also arise still other questionable side-effects at the EU level. Thus the personal data of those in traffic, together with the EU driver’s license, shall be combined in a data bank for all states. Yet which personal data is that? Is it address, name and date of birth of the driver, or perhaps yet more?

It could already be seen in regards the trucking toll in Germany that a system was established by which all registrations are automatically controlled. In regards considerations of data protection, it was at the time naturally assured that the data would be immediately deleted and there would be no possibility of abuse – other than when for clarification of a violation, a quick look back at the registration plates could help.

We also have a draft law of the Linke. Here, it is about a theme – ever the wishful imagination of the leftist utopists – with the prescription: Back to the Reichsbahn, financed by a pool of an ever fewer number of automobile drivers. You conceal with the formulation: “Dissolution of the roads’ financing cycle” [Aufhebung des Finanzierungskreislaufes Strasse”]. Do you actually  have people who think through to the end your visions?

Here for once it is about: You want in the future to no longer use the levies on those using the roads for the completion and new construction of roads projects. The only thing you still want to do with the revenue is to finance repairs. The rest shall serve the expansion of public transportation.

You are thereby not alone – therefore let me dedicate this theme here to a greater contribution – : Your socialist brothers with skins of green even announce it in their party program.

            Marianne Schieder (SPD): Absurd!

You are not thereby meant; thereby meant are the colleagues who still somehow continue to sit in the middle. – With new mobility concepts, the Greens want by 2030 to reduce by a third personal and delivery transportation nationwide. Aha. From where then shall the money come for the mobility pass and cost-free ÖPNV [public transportation]? Exactly, out of the purses of the ever fewer automobile drivers. That we cannot allow. That is namely for the greater part the hard-working employees who have been alloted the automobile. With the AfD, these people finally have a voice in this parliament. You can laugh: We want a look at who laughs in the end!

Stefan Geldhaar (Greens): The worst comedy tonight!

We stand for the retention of affordable automobiles. Affordable individual transportation is the core of a modern free society. When the citizens of this country catch on to what you all are doing with them, then your hype is a thing of the past; that I can guarantee you.

We will abstain from the coalition’s draft law. The draft law of the Linke – as was said: Even in spirit, the Greens’ program we will reject.

Many thanks.

Berengar Elsner von Gronow, May 20, 2021, Security Clearance for Soldiers

German Bundestag, Plenarprotokoll 19/230, p. 29537.

Herr President. Ladies and gentlemen.

“The Bundeswehr has an attitude problem [Haltungsproblem].” The former Defense Minister inadmissibly attested to that in the year 2017, and that resounds in this draft law. One’s own government increasingly distrusts its own public servants and its citizens. I had believed that we learned from the era of 20th Century German surveillance states, that we had overcome this and would not so repeat ourselves. Yet the present Corona policy sadly shows us how quickly government and organs of the state are ready to restrict freedom and data protection in favor of an ostensible security. We of the AfD do not accept this and, fortunately, are ever more people in this country with us.

Thomas Hitschler (SPD): But the surveys say otherwise!

The Military Counterintelligence Service just recently categorized 1,200 reservists as right-radical, without having made those affected aware of that. Where then shall it lead if today to go on reading an article in the “Junge Freiheit”, or to visit a rowdy student union, suffices to be categorized as “right-radical”? At least member Sensburg, CDU, who is not only a reserve staff officer and a law professor but also president of the reservists association, has sounded the alarm on this. I cite: “Not a single one of these cases would stand up to a legal examination.” Yet it is not just about this. It already suffices in our country to be designated and disavowed as “right-radical” when someone even only does not support hypotheses of leftist opinion. That is typical of a political denunciation state as we know it from totalitarian systems. That however may never be allowed to again become a standard in Germany. I am anxious as to whether Professor Sensburg will achieve something or whether he was already from within the party ordered back, since the once conservative CDU long since prepares to conclude a new union with the leftists, only in the future painted green.

The Bundeswehr and even the KSK [special forces commando] on the whole do not have an attitude but even so a leadership problem. It is not wholly about belittling or dismissing lapses of individual soldiers. But this increasing distrust by the state vis-à-vis its citizens, especially those in uniform, is a quite bad development in our country. If my criticism of that in committee is made fun of by the SPD…I can only say: I gladly accept that; since it shows that the AfD is the only remaining party which is believably and seriously committed to the freedom of our citizens. This may also be seen in that the public hearing which I demanded was rejected with statements like: “Despite all justified criticism, we will vote for this law” from all other parties, even the conformists [Scheinfreiheitlichen] of the FDP. I hope the citizens know the value of that. Thus is made no believable politics of freedom.

            Tobias Pflüger (Linke): Such nonsense!

Many thanks.
