As you know, for Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier
any scandal in the vicinity of leftist extremism is good. Yet his latest
congratulations manifests yet again an incremental increase. In a letter of
congratulations to a film director, he praises among others Gudrun Esslin’s “great
intelligence” and “personal strength” and her “impressive will for changing the
social as well as political situation”.
Thus writes our head of state of the co-founder and most
important protagonist of the RAF terrorist organization, who herself was
responsible for numerous bombing attacks which resulted in many fatalities. For
that, she was sentenced by a court of law to life-long imprisonment. Steinmeier’s
indeed well-known predilection for leftist extremism has, with this exculpation
of a political murderer, finally over-stepped a limit. Herr Steinmeier, resign!
