Nicole Höchst, October 11, 2024, Illiteracy in Germany

German Bundestag, Plenarprotokoll 20/192, pp. 25064-25065.

Herr President. Valued colleagues. Right honorable ladies and gentlemen.

In this debate, it is about illiteracy, immigration dangerous to the state, and tax money squandering of the luxury class.

            Josef Oster (CDU/CSU): Aha!

Our major inquiry [Drucksachen 20/9984, 20/11885] yielded: The phenomenon of primary illiteracy is an immigration one. Many immigrants are illiterate because in their countries of origin they never learned to read and write.

Kassem Taher Saleh (Greens): What percentage is that, then? How many                                people is that?

Götz Frömming (AfD): Questions regarding the facts!

Thus, for example, the 2021 illiteracy index in Afghanistan was at 37 percent.

Kassem Taher Saleh (Greens): What is the source?

Hendrik Hoppenstedt (CDU/CSU): And for that you needed to put a                                        major inquiry?

Ladies and gentlemen, we have over 400,000 persons from Afghanistan in the country, mostly young men, and almost one million Syrians. For the latter, the refuge basis for the most part has lapsed. They no longer require a literacy program, but a return home.

Your expensive literacy program knows no total numbers for course participants. You do not know how many German citizens with a migration background are illiterates, from which countries these come, nor whether their children are in any way affected. You do not know how many illiterates are employed in Germany, and are working, and in which occupations.

Kassem Taher Saleh (Greens): So I ask: From where do you have the numbers?

Without this control knowledge, the tax money can only be squandered, and flow in senseless measure which indeed makes the establishment operators richer, yet all of us poorer. Integration cannot be achieved with such a squandering of tax money which sets action for action’s sake before efficiency. Only in homeopathic doses is it successful.

The Federal governments since 2015 have expended six billion euros – that is a number with nine zeros – for integration courses; of that, 1.4 billion euros for literacy courses. The statutory goal is B1. That is a language level according to the Common European Reference Framework for Languages which Realschüler after the tenth grade need to show for their graduation in English.

Kassem Taher Saleh (Greens): Well recited!

Since 2015, scarcely 37,000 persons have at all attained this statutory goal for the German language. Your Start Chances Program with one billion euros of Federal funds per year aims at the same target group, namely those affected by and victims of your failed migration policy. How long shall this palavering continue, ladies and gentlemen?

Martin Rabanus (SPD): That’s just in fact false!

Till Steffen (Greens): You can read quite well up there! You can read so good!

You throw much money as the migration industry. Alone, the 71-page annex to our major inquiry lists over 1,000 language firms which have participated in the moderately successful literacy program without the state’s tightly woven result controls. And, ladies and gentlemen, what if many immigrants simply have no interest in literacy or integration courses? There is finally Bürgergeld

Till Steffen (Greens): It is soon again recitation day in the Grundschulen!

The German taxpayers in addition pay for the necessary translation services. The language groups which require translators come principally from Syria, Afghanistan and other countries in which the Moslem belief dominates.

Many participants in integration and language courses have often led in many statistics, in the main over-proportionately to their portion of the population, such as criminal statistics, education statistics, in the categories “without school and without vocational school completion”. They have led just so over-proportionately in the recipients of Bürgergeld statistics, and at the same time are often found in the statistics of those obliged to depart.

Marianne Schieder (SPD): Almost 70 percent of the Syrians are working!

That is no secret.

The uneducated Talahon immigration bred by you has long since integrated into parallel societies. Thus, why learn the German language? The language of conquerors is initially Kanak, already recognizable in kindergartens and school classes,

Hendrik Hoppenstedt (CSU/CSU): You yourself can do better!

Many disdain our way of living, our laws, our people.

Yet entire branches of industry have arisen: The refugee industry, the anti-racism industry, the integration and language course industry, which present nothing other than an unholy alliance between Islamists and woke leftists. Even the leftist-woke trimmed churches profit.

Yet all the mere bleating here, all the commanded silence and glossing over, is not longer of use in view of the abuses which are recognizable by all. For the well-being of the German people, whom you either hate or whose existence you deny, you do nothing. We do not want your Great Transformation which makes us poor, woke and ever more Islamic.

We all have good friends from all cultures,

Vice-president Wolfgang Kubicki: Frau colleague, come to a conclusion, please.

who want to live together with us here peacefully and in all friendship in mutual respect. It was never about them, ladies and gentlemen.

Till Steffen (Greens): You learn nothing from them, then?

And now I am curious

Vice-president Wolfgang Kubicki: Frau colleague, please come to a conclusion.

how you here again talk your out of it.

Many thanks.

Nicole Höchst, June 20, 2024, Boys in Schools

AfD Kompakt, June 20, 2024.

Boys appear in nearly all statistics worse than girls. And the number of boys without a graduation certificate is clearly higher than that for girls. Thus in the year 2020, 62 percent of students without a high school completion certificate were boys.

A specific and expanded support of boys in the schools is required, and it is not allowed to be placed in the narrative of the eternally oppressed little females. We of the AfD Bundestag delegation have already many times referred to this in our initiatives; for example, the inquiry “Possible Disadvantage of Boys in the German Education System” (Drucksache 20/7105). And from the answer of the Federal government to this minor inquiry, it was evident that, up to that point in time, there was no research on the school problems of boys.

We of the AfD Bundestag delegation therefore demand that there needs to be research adapted to the school problems of boys, since in the named PISA study, especially in written expression, girls clearly achieved better results than boys.

From the occupational education reports and from the PISA results, we know who these boys are. The left-green course settings compel the situation and disadvantage boys, especially boys with a migration background. This school policy steals the future of the boys in our country.

The AfD Bundestag delegation demands an end to this policy and the beginning of research into the school problems of boys – and right now!

Nicole Höchst, May 21, 2021, Elections – Citizens Participation

German Bundestag, Plenarprotokoll 19/231, pp. 29775-29776.

Frau President. Valued colleagues. Right honorable ladies and gentlemen.

We are deliberating today on many motions of this legislative period, all of which are more or less honestly dedicated to the theme of citizen participation. The Greens for example in their motion, gendered almost into unintelligibility and unreadability, demand the establishment of so-called citizens *** councils. These shall participate in the legislative process.

This unfortunately, as shown yesterday in the city council meeting in Speyer, must be evaluated as a further attempt to transform a constitutionally chartered democracy into a kind of simulation of democracy. The testifying expert herself in the offered presentation went explicitly into the connection with so-called undesired results. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Expert, for colorfulness, tolerance and variety, that you in advance so drop your trousers. For you, it is certainly not about citizen participation in a democratic process. For you, it is unfortunately about leading on the citizens with more participation – an absurd theater with the sole purpose of reaching the pre-determined result. Who then specifies the result? The German people know not.

Valued petitioners, why should young people be awarded the active right to vote when they themselves possess no passive right? No 16-year-old may drive a car or purchase liquor or be tattooed without the parents’ consent or decide whether he wants to smoke a cigarette or not. In court, there is the juvenile penal code. Yet shall he be able to make groundbreaking decisions for the entire society? That is incoherent [passt vorn und hinten nicht zusammen], ladies and gentlemen. Civil rights in the view of the AfD delegation should unconditionally correspond with civil duties.

Ladies and gentlemen, we live in unusual times. In today’s debate, we yet again experience the further deconstruction of the term “democracy” by government and petitioners. Celebrated by a press-for-hire, so-called fact finders, NGO and foundation democracy, centers for political education and also a civil society in part financed by tax money, for the purpose of promoting democracy you force public opinion into the desired corridors of opinion. Bravo!

A self-named speech police outlaws terms, issues prohibitions of speech and thought. This new, exclusive democracy by every means appears to be right: Democracy foundations, democracy projects and even soon democracy laws. You imagine yourselves to be unassailable in your sovereign interpretations. Who should have something against democracy?

Helin Evrim Sommer (Linke): The AfD!

Unfortunately, with this concept of democracy, it is in truth a question of a really intense false labeling; namely, the poorly hidden attempt to ostracize unfavored parties, organizations, media, ideas, facts and persons from the political spectrum by means of scandalization and criminalization. A monstrous, almost tyrannical process, ladies and gentlemen! Since in practice tax money will be thoroughly committed to the annihilation of the political opposition at all levels. That is is the sad reality in the Germany of 2021, ladies and gentlemen. The Alternative für Deutschland  is the sole delegation in the German Bundestag which resists this monstrous process. We proudly engage against the epic error that democracy, participation, human rights and the rights of freedom are separable and may be assigned by a government. We are for authentic citizen participation and popular referendum following the Swiss model – not, however, your rotten jamboree.

Hearty thanks.

Helge Lindh (SPD): It was really a philosophical discourse.

Nicole Höchst, July 2, 2020, On-line Learning

Nicole Höchst
On-line Learning
German Bundestag, July 2, 2020, Plenarprotokoll 19/170, pp. 21319-21320

[Nicole Höchst is an Alternative für Deutschland Bundestag member from the western German state of Rheinland-Pfalz. She is a teacher and here introduces an AfD motion (Drucksache 19/20568) on education.]

Frau President. Worthy colleagues.

The crisis of the Corona precautions also has something good. It once again discloses the limits of the much praised digitalization of the educational system. The phase of on-line learning conditioned by the school closings left an entire generation of students even more hobbled than was moreover already the case. And the DigitalPakt Schools could alter simply nothing of this. “The German School Barometer Special Corona Crisis” came to the conclusion that area-wide, digital substitute instruction, stated mildly, killed equal opportunity in education. Obviously, on-line learning, or hours of sitting in front of squared-off screens, cannot nearly replace the in person and contact instruction of the teacher.

Birke Bull-Bischoff (Linke): Digital learning is not just bad!

That has destructive effects upon the future capability of our society. The lesson from the crisis must therefore be to prepare our school system equally for future daily and epidemic situations and indeed so that in person instruction is possible with observance of all required protective measures.

The Greens are using the crisis to put the axe to our school system. The AfD self-evidently rejects their demands for an all-day school system beginning in the Grundschule and for work creation measures for social, media and theatrical pedagogues. That can only accelerate the foreseeable Waterloo of the German Bildungsnation.

The FDP motion discloses a distorted picture of the living reality of many of our country’s students. The FDP recognizes only one solution to all the present challenges: Maximum digitalization. This however is – in the end – senseless, cold and a preparation for George Orwell’s “1984”.

Stephan Albani (CDU/CSU): That is just rubbish!

To where is leading a soulless, God-less digitalization, without standard and understanding? To a relations-disabled student with an ideological as possible, pixelated world view and a digital dementia. We already stand before the ruins of our educational landscape. The greatest losers are our innocent children.

Only the Alternative für Deutschland demands what our schools actually require. More teaching staff, smaller classes, a better digital and technical infrastructure, increased training in the pedagogy of digitalization, and the financing of hygiene measures – to name only a few of the 13 points of our motion. Our pragmatic motion on down-to-earth education helps make our school system more secure in the pandemic crisis and thereby re-establishes fairness in education.

            Birke Bull-Bischoff (Linke): Nothing meaningful!

The teaching staff, who are fighting on the most forward fronts for our future society, will receive essential relief.

Ladies and gentlemen, children are our highest good and the future of our society. Their health, protection and education have the foremost priority. The people of today and tomorrow will be enabled by education to manage in the worlds of communication as mature, independent and responsible citizens. By means of a human and humane education, they should be made immune against ideologization, fanaticism and a virtual, conditioned dependence, as well as isolation and de-humanization.

Kai Gehring (Greens): And against rightist extremism!

For the AfD, education is more than a trained, reflex, cultural Marxist competence output. We want to remain human beings, with all our power of judgment and our desire to act, with values and our free will – in Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit.

Good evening.
