Jörg Urban, April 17, 2024, Inflated Government in Saxony

AfD Kompakt, April 17, 2024.

Already in the present legislative period, CDU, Greens and SPD have created thousands of new positions, often so as to take care of their own party personnel with lucrative posts. A renewed growth of the ministries we decisively reject. The bureaucracy is not allowed to be ever again inflated. We instead need to deconstruct it.

A shrinking population and the digitalization need to have as a consequence a leaner administration. We are of the opinion that the number of ministries also is to be reduced. The Kultus and Science ministries, for example, could be combined.

According to the government’s positions development report, alone the State Chancellery of Minister-president Kretschmer has created 296 new positions within the last five years. Similarly highly inflated under the regime of the Greens were the Justice and Environment ministries. There must finally be an end to this self-service mentality.

Jörg Urban, January 8, 2024, Farmers’ Protests

AfD Kompakt, January 8, 2024.

In regards the protests, we stand on the side of the farmers. The enthusiastic participation of tradesmen, shippers and a large part of the citizens shows: Our country urgently needs a change of politics. The green course of the established parties and the “climate transformation” of all areas of life moreover lead Germany to the abyss.

We also in the future want affordable foodstuffs from the homeland. By means of fertilizer bans and a steadily increasing load of charges, the Federal and State government drive the domestic farmers to ruin. If this negative development is not stopped, we will soon need to feed ourselves by foodstuff imports.

The CDU’s support of the protests is more than hypocritical. Certainly it has enormously increased the problems for the Saxon farmers, in that it has installed the Green Agriculture Minister Wolfram Günther in Saxony. And the steadily increasing CO2 tax is an invention of the CDU.

Jörg Urban, June 5, 2023, Leftist Violence in Saxony

AfD Kompakt, June 5, 2023.

We see also an urgent need for a special sitting of the Interior Committee. When for many days there, stones are thrown at police, autos are set afire and police precincts are attacked, that is a situation similar to civil war.

It makes matter more difficult that the Greens with Jürgen Kasek have taken a key role in regards the militant protests. A governing party has the duty to prevent violence. Instead, the Greens have ever again verbally legitimated the Anitfa’s violence. Minister-president Michael Kretschmer thus sits in a boat with quasi Antifa powers. In that regard, he has an extremism problem in his own government.

Especially his Green Justice Minister Katja Meier enlists as a political arm of the Antifa. Just a few years ago, she herself demonstrated side by side with leftist extremists. To this day, she has not credibly distanced herself from the protagonists of leftist violence.

Kretschmer’s government coddles leftist extremists in regards whom the Federal Criminal Office sees parallels with the RAF. CDU Interior Minister Armin Schuster now in retrospect announces himself for implementing a concept against leftist extremism. The government of Saxony must allow the question why already for years such a concept was not drawn up.

Jörg Urban, August 29, 2022, Inflation in Saxony

AfD Kompakt, August 29, 2022.

The government mis-uses the price increases to mercilessly draw money from the pockets of citizens and businesses.

CDU Minister-president Michael Kretschmer wants to use the inflation profit to make possible for his government expenditures of – believe it or not – 5.7 billion euros. Especially profits therefrom the administration which shall be further inflated. The greatest beneficiaries are thereby once again the Greens who have made out much for their ministries.

The AfD is not alone in its criticism of this squandering of tax money by the government. The Saxon Audit Authority also shares our critique. In view of the unprecedented economic crisis, that the Saxon budget readies no targeted relief of any sort for our impoverished citizens and endangered businesses is just grotesque. At a minimum, the reserves of the Free State should be readied for a hard winter. Instead, the government itself wants to plunder our nest egg for its impudent self-service. That certainly does not go!

There would very simply be a majority in the Saxon Landtag for a solid financial policy. For that, however, Herr Kretschmer would need to finally throw the Greens out of the government.

Jörg Urban, December 30, 2021, Freedom of Assembly

AfD Kompakt, December 30, 2021.

The restoration of the basic right of freedom of assembly endures no further delay. The current Corona decree in Saxony runs out on January 9. The government might thus be allowed to work on the subsequent regulations. Only a speedy special session of the Landtag can thus prevent that the massive restrictions of the basic rights are also included in the next decree.

We have seen in the last weeks that the limitation of demonstrations to ten persons has disturbed the peace of our State. As a result of this regulation, participants in assemblies and marchers automatically come to blows with the police. This ever further expanding escalation is to be immediately stopped. Happily, the Police Union (GdP) has also acknowledged this.

Only when the State government lifts the ten person limit can the situation in our streets relax. Self-evidently, against violent perpetrators the police must consequently proceed. Yet it may never be allowed in a free country to come to a criminalization of peaceful citizens’ protests.

The AfD will therefore also show itself in the future to be in solidarity with all of those who muster the courage to carry their concerns and needs before the public free of violence. This is a basic right. The State must respect this.
