The combustion engine ban concluded by the EU Parliament is
based on a deception: For years it was asserted that electro-mobility, unlike
the combustion engines, would be free of emissions. Yet that is not right,
since a lack of exhaust of the e-autos still by far does not make it
emission-free. Based on this deception, the way was made ready for a massive
distortion of competition in favor of e-autos in the name of the climate
ideology. For according to current EU law, massive penalty payments must be paid
by auto manufacturers to the EU for excess emissions with regard to the
permitted exhaust. With the threat of penalty payments in the billions, even
the largest auto manufacturers are tamed and praise the e-auto as the vehicle
of the future.
High purchase and operating costs, long charging times, a
lack of charging infrastructure, dangers of burning e-autos, a decline of
battery performance, critical raw materials like lithium, nickel or cobalt
harmful to the environment, and an increasing dependence on countries endowed
with raw materials, are therefore hidden. Germany as a business venue, with its
strong automobile and supplier industry, thereby rolls toward a catastrophe,
hundreds of thousands of workplaces are on the brink. We give away good
technology to countries which do not join in this nonsense and thereby only
weaken ourselves.
The AfD was and is the only party consistently committed for
technology openness and competition in mobility. EVP chief Manfred Weber (CSU)
indeed stresses wanting to stop the combustion engine exit, yet what has the
Union done in the last years in that regard? Nothing! When Weber speaks of
wanting in fact to save the combustion technology, yet at the same time
anticipates that electro-mobility belongs to the future, that is revealing and only
shows that for the CDU/CSU it is not about technology openness and competition.
Only with the AfD is there a preservation of the combustion engine.
